Privacy policy

The short version

We collect your email address only if you give it to us, and we use it only to send OhmPrep study material and product news. We do not sell it. This site has no advertising trackers and no third-party cookies.

What we collect

• Email signup. When you use a signup form, we store your email address, the date and time, and which page the form was on.
• Theme setting. If you switch between dark and light theme, your choice is saved in your own browser (local storage). It never leaves your device.
• Calculator inputs. The voltage drop calculator runs entirely in your browser. The values you enter can appear in the page address so you can share a result, but they are not sent to us.
• Server logs and analytics. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and protect the site. If we turn on Cloudflare Web Analytics, it measures page views without cookies.

Who processes the data

• Cloudflare: hosting, security and storage of the email list.
• Resend: delivery of the emails we send you.

These providers process data on our behalf and under their own security and privacy terms.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe at any time by replying "unsubscribe" to any OhmPrep email. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, reply to any OhmPrep email with your request. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, such as access, correction and deletion.

Children

OhmPrep is meant for adults preparing for a professional license and is not directed at children under 13.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
