Study material only

OhmPrep provides study material for the calculation questions on journeyman electrician exams. It is educational content, not engineering, legal or code compliance advice. Always confirm requirements in the code edition adopted by your jurisdiction and with your authority having jurisdiction. We do not guarantee any exam result.

Accuracy

We work to keep the examples and the calculator correct, but mistakes are possible and codes change. If you find an error, tell us by replying to any OhmPrep email. The free calculator gives approximate results using the K-factor method and is provided as is.

Personal use

The articles, tools and the future course are licensed to you for your own personal, non-commercial study. You may not copy, resell, redistribute or share course logins or downloadable material, or use them to run a class, without written permission. Short quotes with a link back are fine.

The OhmPrep Calculations Course

The course is not on sale yet. When it launches, these terms will apply to it:

• 30-day refund. If you are not satisfied, ask for a refund within 30 days of purchase and you will get a full refund, no questions asked.
• Personal license. One purchase is for one person.
• Price. The planned price is $59 (USD). The price shown at checkout is the price that applies.

OhmPrep is an independent study resource. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by NFPA, the National Electrical Code, or any state licensing board. NEC is a registered trademark of the National Fire Protection Association.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, OhmPrep is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the site, the tools or the course. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
